The Bowl
Each Betta Treasure comes with a crystal clear, beveled, hand-blown glass sphere for 360 degrees of unobstructed viewing. Slight varaitions may be present in the glass due to the hand-blown process, but this adds to the distinction of the piece.
Jewel Substrate
Also included in every Betta Treasure model are faceted acrylic "jewels". This clear "jewel" substrate allows for the brilliant light to shine through, creating a sparkling effect in the bowl. In addition to illuminating your betta, the substrate serves as surface area for beneficial bacteria that aid in the removal of waste products.
Lighting
Betta Treasures are distinctly unique in that each model includes a battery operated, brilliant white LED lighting system. Designed to illuminate from base, the three light system is cleverly concealed within the sculptual base. The lighting is controlled by a small switch, and runs off three AAA bateries (not included). As an added feature, each includes an outlet for an A/C adapter (sold seperately), so there is no need to worry about replacing batteries.
UL rated 120V A/C adapter can be purchased separately.
